Mark deFreese

Mark deFreese has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mark is currently working as a Territory Business Manager at Avadel Pharmaceuticals plc, a position they started in April 2023. Prior to this, Mark worked at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. from August 2019 to April 2023, where they served as an Executive Neuroscience Sales Specialist.

From September 2013 to August 2019, Mark worked as a Surgical Consultant at ConMed Linvatec/Medi-Sol. Before that, they worked at Eli Lilly and Company as a Senior Sales Representative in the MSK-Osteo Division from October 2011 to October 2013.

Mark's work experience also includes being a Diabetes Care Specialist at Novo Nordisk A/S from November 2010 to October 2011, and a Hospital/Institutional Representative at Takeda Pharmaceuticals from October 2000 to August 2010. Mark started their career as a Sales Representative at sanofi-aventis, where they worked from August 1998 to October 2000.

Mark deFreese attended The University of Oklahoma from 1986 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus on Radio, TV, and Film.
