Michelle Busse

Michelle Busse has over 29 years of work experience. Michelle started their career as a teacher at Shelby County Schools in 1993 and worked there until 2004. Michelle then transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, working at Daiichi Sankyo as a Pharmaceutical Sales representative from 2004 to 2011. After that, they joined Astellas Pharma as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative from 2011 to 2014. Michelle then worked at Avadel Pharmaceuticals plc as a Urology Sales Specialist from 2017, followed by a role as an ADHD Specialist at Ironshore Pharmaceuticals Inc. starting in 2019. In 2021, they joined Vanda Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Neuroscience Specialty Sales professional and is currently employed there. Finally, in 2022, they took up the role of a Territory Account Manager at ViiV Healthcare.

Michelle Busse completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Jacksonville State University in the period from 1988 to 1992. Michelle then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the University of Montevallo between 1996 and 1998. Later, they pursued additional studies in English as a Second Language and earned a Master's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham during the years 2002 to 2004. Additionally, they also obtained a Master of Education (MEd) in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Montevallo between 1996 and 1998.
