Sarah Andres

Sarah Andres has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sarah has held various technical leadership and architecture roles in multiple companies. Sarah's most recent position was as the Director of Engineering Excellence at Availity, where they focused on ensuring complex architecture decisions were implemented consistently and acted as a bridge between different departments within the organization. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Product Architecture Solutions and Delivery at Availity, overseeing the development and delivery of architectural solutions. In addition, Sarah has worked as an Enterprise Architect at Availity, a Technical Architect at Availity, and a Consultant Architect at EverBank.

Sarah also founded Sarah Can Code IT, a community for current and aspiring female coders, where they provided members with guidance, mentorship, and education on technology. Sarah has also worked in roles such as Technical Lead and Solutions Architect at the Delivery Systems Architecture Team - BCBSF, Senior Java Architect and Development Lead at CRM/E-Commerce, Owner and Senior Java Architect Consultant at Jax Objects, Inc, Technical Lead Consultant at FreshDirect, Software Engineer at SkyMall, Senior Developer Consultant at Homeside Lending Inc, and Senior Technical Systems Enginner at Bank of America. Throughout their career, Sarah has showcased their expertise in architecture, development, and collaboration to drive success in various organizations and projects.

Sarah Andres completed an Associate's degree in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines from 1985 to 1988. Sarah then pursued Computer Science, studying at Rutgers University - Newark from 1988 to 1991 and at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1991.

Additionally, Sarah has obtained several certifications including Pragmatic Certified Product Manager, Pragmatic Certified Product Marketer, Pragmatic Marketing Certified, TOGAF® 9 Certified from The Open Group, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Java certification from Sun Microsystems.
