Kristina Silja Bennard

Kristina Silja Bennard serves as Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Avalara, a leading tax automation SaaS company, where responsibilities include managing litigation, negotiating contracts, and providing guidance on various legal issues. Additionally, Kristina teaches Enterprise Legal Issues in the Leadership Executive MBA program at the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University. Previous experience includes Senior Corporate Counsel at Expedia, Inc., Partner at Yarmuth Wilsdon PLLC, Chief Counsel for Litigation at The Boeing Company, and Associate roles at both Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and Mayer Brown. Kristina began a legal career as a Law Clerk for The Honorable Diarmuid F. O'Scannlain at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Educational achievements include a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.
