Sanjay Parthasarathy

Sanjay Parthasarathy is the EVP and Chief Product Officer at Avalara. Sanjay was previously the CEO and Founder of Indix, which was acquired by Avalara. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft for 19 years, where they held various positions, including Corporate Vice President.

Sanjay Parthasarathy graduated from the College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai with a BE in Mechanical Engineering. Sanjay then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned an SM in Engineering. Finally, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management and earned an SM in Management.

Their manager is Scott McFarlane, CEO & Co-Founder. Paul Sanford - VP, Product Management, Niranjan Vijayaragavan - VP, Product Management - Platforms report to Sanjay Parthasarathy. Sanjay Parthasarathy works with Amit Mathradas - President & COO, Marshal Kushniruk - EVP, Strategy, and Danny Fields - EVP, CTO.
