Suresh Babu

Suresh Babu is a Principal Software Engineer at Avalara since August 2020, focusing on developing a Notification Service and an Item Catalog Service for various applications, including Avalara's flagship app, AvaTax. Prior experience includes roles as a Lead Software Engineer at Target, where Suresh led the development of a conversational agent, and significant positions at AppDynamics, Tesco PLC, and Intel Security, specializing in technical leadership and mobile security solutions. Suresh's extensive experience in eCommerce, mobile application development, and system design has been honed through previous roles at Tesco and CGI, along with early work in embedded systems at Eltech Controls. Suresh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from SKCET, completed in 2002.
