Kyle Cavalieri

Kyle Cavalieri has over 15 years of experience in IT security, providing consultative services in cybersecurity, digital forensics, incident response, and electronic discovery. In 2020, they became the President of Avalon Cyber, where they lead, manages, and provides guidance to the team. Kyle also architects, develops, and implements technology service offerings and develops sales, marketing, and measurable service plans.

From 2016-2020, they held various roles at Avalon, including CIO/CTO and Chief Information Officer. From 2015-2016, they worked as a Senior Information Security Analyst at Integer Holdings, where they served as a team lead for cyber security related matters and was the lead information security architect for several initiatives.

From 2010-2015, they worked at DIGITS LLC as a Senior Special Advisor and Director of Computer Forensics and Investigations. At Protiviti from 2007-2010, they worked as a Senior Consultant for Computer Forensics Examiner and provided emergency incident response and computer forensic services to a global customer base.

In 2007, they also interned at the New York State Office of the Attorney General, where they worked with the Cyber Crime Investigators and the Organized Crime Task Force on several high profile criminal investigations. From 2005-2007, they were the IT Administration at Hilbert College, where they managed hundreds of lab computers, servers, and network devices.

Kyle Cavalieri obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Security from Hilbert College in 2007. In 2016, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Kyle also holds the CCE and EnCE certifications from the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE) and Guidance Software, respectively.
