Azal Ahmadi

Azal Ahmadi is a Senior Scientist at Avalon Health Economics LLC since July 2014, specializing in litigation support, health policy analysis, business analytics, and health outcomes projects, with a focus on substance abuse, mental health needs of veterans, clinical pain management using BOTOX®, and breast cancer biomarkers. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Researcher at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and completing various internships and research positions at institutions such as the Health Communication Capacity Collaborative, ICON Clinical Research, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Azal holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Health from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Medical Anthropology from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from Wellesley College.
