Neer Shay

Neer Shay is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in data engineering and big data development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Avalor since January 2022, Neer previously held the role of Senior Data Engineer at Playtika, where significant contributions were made as a founding member of the Data Science Group, including the introduction of key infrastructure. Earlier experiences include roles as a Big Data Engineer at Taykey, where Neer led initiatives for trend recalculation across historical data, and as a Software Developer at EMC, focusing on kernel layer drivers for the RecoverPoint solution. Additional experience includes an internship at Microsoft Corporation and a tools engineering position at Data Domain. Neer holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
