Sameer Puranik

Sameer Puranik is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cloud services and business management. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of the Technology Business Group at Avanade since April 2020, Sameer has held significant roles in prominent companies including Director of Public Cloud Services at Hitachi Vantara, and Director of Cloud Services Programs at Equinix. Previous positions include Global Head of Cloud Services at Telstra and Regional Director of Cloud & Application Services at AT&T. Sameer began a career in technology at Praj Industries as a Senior Engineer and later co-founded CC TechSkool, focusing on e-learning. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the MIT School of Management, a degree in Internet of Things from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Goa Engineering College.
