Anne Thomas

Anne Thomas serves as the Chief Program Officer at AVANCE, Inc. since June 2018 and has held the role of Executive Director at AVANCE-Dallas since April 2012. With a strong background in nonprofit leadership, Anne has been involved with the Association of Fundraising Professionals since 2008 as a Board Member and Vice President of Administration. Previous positions include Director of Business Operations at Big Thought (2010-2012), Operations Manager at Avance-Dallas (2007-2010), and Vice President of Internal Operations at ChildCareGroup (2005-2007), overseeing significant operational functions in organizations with substantial budgets and staff. Additionally, Anne held various leadership positions at the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County from 2000 to 2005, including Chief Operating Officer and interim President/CEO, focusing on grant development and managing a large membership organization.
