Mr. Hickey has over 35 years of experience in the medical device industry and executive experience with manufacturers and GPOs. His experiences include many startups including international distribution, technology assessment, and market feasibility. He successfully launched several products and hired, mentored, trained, and motivated hundreds of direct independent and distributor sales teams. He is comfortable presenting value propositions in the C-Suite to high level executives or in the clinical arena to world-renowned clinicians. His expertise includes new product launches, key account enterprise selling strategies, OEM, and distribution development. He is credentialed for surgical services, procedures, and support. He has received numerous honors, including Economics Academic Award – Eastern Michigan University (2008), Bob Anderson Sales Leadership Award – Valleylab, Inc., MDE Presidents Club Award Distributor of the Year, Gish BioMedical Distributor of the Year, and Miller-Heiman Strategic Account Sales Coaching. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Oakland University (1977) and a Master of Arts in Health Economics from Eastern Michigan University (2009).
