Carmen L. Lewis possesses extensive legal expertise, currently serving as Senior Counsel for Corporate & Offshore Wind at AVANGRID, Inc. and Secretary of the Avangrid Foundation, Inc. Since joining AVANGRID in June 2018, Carmen has contributed to significant legal matters. Prior experience includes roles as a Corporate Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP and as a Real Estate Associate at multiple law firms including Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP, and Harter Secrest & Emery LLP. Carmen's practice has involved representing various entities in mergers and acquisitions, lending transactions, and commercial financing. Carmen holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, along with an MBA in International/Global Studies from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester.
