Ersan Lujinovic

Ersan Lujinovic has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ersan is the founder of Lu.e MedClinical, where they provide medical and clinical consulting services to MedTech and multinational companies. In this role, they acquire new trials and manages vendor bid proposals for clinical trials in Europe. Ersan also consults with companies on regulatory requirements for product certification in Europe.

Currently, Ersan is the Executive Director of Business Development for Europe at Avania. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of International Medical Affairs at Invitae, where they built strategic partnerships with the medical community for companion diagnostics and treatment planning. Ersan also worked on collaborative initiatives in cancer diagnostics, focusing on lung, breast, thyroid, colorectal, and sarcomas.

Before Invitae, Ersan held the role of Manager of Medical and Scientific Affairs in the EMEA region at Agendia. In this position, they were responsible for developing and leading clinical programs, including managing a medical science liaison team. Ersan successfully launched an international registry in Europe, Israel, and Turkey in collaboration with medical steering committees.

Prior to Agendia, Ersan worked as the Head of Medical and Clinical Affairs for the EMEA region at Anteris Technologies. Ersan designed and managed clinical trials in pediatric cardiology and congenital heart surgery and developed medical strategies resulting in significant revenue.

Earlier in their career, Ersan held roles such as Manager of Clinical Affairs at MicroPort Orthopedics, Inc., Clinical Specialist at BIOTRONIK, and Clinical Monitor at AstraZeneca. Ersan also worked as a Telecommunications Consultant at BelCompany and as a Medical Scientific Fellow at AMC - Academic Medical Center.

Ersan Lujinovic has a Master's degree in Medical Biochemistry from the University of Amsterdam.
