Barbara Sousa has worked in various roles and companies within the marketing and creative industry. Barbara most recently joined Avant Arte in 2022 as an Artist Manager. Prior to that, Barbara worked at MR PORTER from 2020 to 2022, where they held the position of Senior Performance Marketing Executive. Barbara was responsible for overseeing marketing campaigns and driving performance. Previous to MR PORTER, Barbara worked at Harvey Nichols as a Search Engine Marketing Executive from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they also had a brief stint at FARFETCH as a Social Media Partnership, where they focused on creating promotional materials and sharing content insights. Barbara's early career includes roles at Global Search Marketing Ltd as a Digital Marketing Executive from 2018 to 2019, Inditex as a Visual Merchandiser from 2017 to 2018, and Everything Is New as an Event Assistant from 2017 to 2018.

Barbara Sousa completed their Post Graduation in Digital Marketing at IPAM from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Licentiate degree in Information Management at Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2013 to 2016. Their education history also includes studying Economics at Escola Secundária Pedro Nunes from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Barbara has obtained certifications such as the Basis of Dynamics CRM and Dynamics NAV from Microsoft in June 2015, and the Pordata - Base de Dados de Portugal from Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos in December 2013.
