Jack Turner has a diverse range of work experience. Jack started their career as a Projectionist at Cinemark, where they built movies and maintained projection equipment. After that, they worked as a Tax Intern at Moss Adams LLP, preparing returns for individuals and optimizing deductions for clients. Jack then took on the role of an Audit Intern at Perkins & Co, where they performed analytical procedures and communicated accounting matters. Following this, they worked as a Testing Administrator at Prometric, administering professional tests and monitoring testers for cheating. Jack then joined Moss Adams LLP as a Tax Staff Accountant, before transitioning to the University of Oregon as a Fiscal Coordinator & Accountant. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Finance at Avant Assessment.
Jack Turner has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Public Accounting from Southern Oregon University, which they obtained between 2013 and 2016. After that, they attended Rogue Community College from 2011 to 2013 and earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business. In 2018, Jack enrolled in the University of Oregon - Charles H. Lundquist College of Business and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) between 2018 and 2020. In terms of additional certifications, Jack obtained the CLA+ Accomplished Critical Thinker certification from CAE (Council for Aid to Education) in April 2016, along with Microsoft Office Specialist certifications in Access 2013 and Excel, which they earned in March 2016 and August 2014, respectively.
