Bas Blom

Bas works for Avantium as Managing Director of the Renewable Polymers business unit since 2021. Prior to joining Avantium, Bas was in various P&L and commercial leadership roles in global listed companies such as GE, SABIC, and Renewi. He focused on profitably growing diverse businesses in engineering plastics and sustainable products.

Bas holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, an MBA in Information Management from Business School Netherlands, and he is a GE Certified SixSigma Master Black Belt.
