Daniel Similaki

Daniel Similaki has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Dye Technician at SKA Textiles Ltd for four months. In 2014, they served as a Research Laboratory Technician at The University of Huddersfield for eight months. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Digital Client Success Manager at Merck Group, handling client relationships in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently, since 2021, they are employed at Avantor as a Key Account Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, covering the Oxford, Cambridge, London, and surrounding areas. Additionally, they hold the position of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Lead - Europe at Avantor, starting in April 2022. Daniel has consistently achieved high double-digit growth in their roles at Avantor.

Daniel Similaki completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at The University of Huddersfield from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended St Paul's Catholic School from 2004 to 2011 for their A Levels. Daniel also obtained various certifications in leadership and business from institutions such as McKinsey & Company and LinkedIn, with the most recent certification obtained in 2024.
