Luz Doynel-Thompson

Luz Doynel-Thompson, MBA, is an accomplished interpreter and translator with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Conference Interpreter at TCL Interpreting & Translation Services, Luz conducts simultaneous and consecutive interpretation at various conferences, including municipal meetings. Additionally, Luz works as a Spanish Interpreter and Translator for PALS for Health, analyzing technical documents for precise translations while fostering strong client relationships. At Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Luz acts as a Language and Cultural Specialist II, providing medical interpretation to ensure effective communication in the Emergency Department, while also advocating for culturally diverse families. In previous roles, Luz has contributed as a Spanish Translator at Avantpage Translations, a Spanish and Portuguese Interpreter at Hanna Interpreting Services, and held management roles focused on customer service and international relations.
