Mohd Amjad

Mohd Amjad has extensive work experience in the field of risk and compliance, specifically in the areas of third-party risk management and information security. Mohd is currently an Associate Director of Risk & Compliance at Avanze since September 2023. Prior to this, they were the Manager of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) at Mphasis from February 2022 to August 2023.

Before joining Mphasis, Mohd worked at Wipro Limited for a significant period of time, holding various roles. Mohd started as an Assistant Executive and worked their way up to the position of Deputy Manager of Risk & Compliance. In between, they also served as an Assistant Manager of Operations and Assistant Quality Assurance Manager. Their tenure at Wipro began in July 2007 and ended in January 2022.

Mohd also has experience working at Utopia Global, Inc. as a Senior Content Specialist for a brief period in 2007 and at Oracle India Pvt Ltd as an Accounts Payable Analyst from November 2003 to February 2007.

Mohd Amjad completed a PGDBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning between 2011 and 2013. Mohd has also obtained several additional certifications, including Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in 2021, ISMS ISO 27001:2013 Internal Auditor from DNV. GL in 2017, and ISMS ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor from Bureau Veritas in 2018.
