Kevin Wasserstein

Co-Founder, Board Director at Avation Medical

Kevin Wasserstein has held various roles in the healthcare industry since 2012. In 2013, they founded MentorCatalyst, working with a small handful of medical device startup companies. In 2015, they founded Neurotechnology Innovations Translator (NIT), a translational center that provided infrastructure, funding, and support to accelerate the development cycle. In 2016, they co-founded Avation Medical and in 2017, they co-founded Sollis Therapeutics. In 2012, they were an advisor to the CEO at Oculeve Inc. and in 2013, they were an executive chairman and advisor to the CEO at Eargo. In 2020, they were a corporate vice president of venture capital at Boston Scientific and in 2022, they will be the executive director of Stanford Medicine Catalyst.

Kevin Wasserstein obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University between 1987 and 1991. Kevin then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Design) at Stanford University from 1991 to 1992. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Stanford University Graduate School of Business between 1995 and 1997.
