Alease Merrell

Alease Merrell has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in sales and outreach roles. Alease started their career in 1996 with Abbott and Sanofi-Aventis, where they worked in pharmaceutical sales for ten years. In 2006, they joined Gentiva and held various sales positions, including Hospice Account Executive and Area Director of Sales. From 2010 to 2017, they served as the Area Vice President of Sales at Gentiva. Alease then became the Division Vice President of Sales - Hospice in 2017 and the Area Vice President of Sales - Home Health in 2018, both at Gentiva. In 2019, Alease joined Amedisys as the Area Vice President of Hospice Outreach until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as the Senior Vice President of Hospice Sales at Elara Caring. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Sales, Medical Solutions at Aveanna Healthcare, starting in 2023.

Alease Merrell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
