Eladio J. Rivera

Eladio J. Rivera is an accomplished R&D scientist with extensive experience in analytical development, method validation, and drug formulation. Since April 2021, Eladio has served as R&D Scientist III at Nitto Avecia, leading analytical projects in oligonucleotide research and contributing to CMC technical documentation. Prior experience includes a role at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on feasibility studies and quality issue investigations, as well as working as a Ph.D. Development Chemist at Mission Pharmacal Company, where Eladio applied reverse engineering for product development. Earlier roles include a postdoctoral fellowship at Rice University, where innovative carbon nanocapsules were developed for medical imaging, and a lecturer position at the University of Puerto Rico, overseeing undergraduate chemistry courses. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Inorganic-Analytical Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico and a postdoctoral fellowship at Rice University.
