Benedetto Sgroi

Benedetto Sgroi is the Global Head of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing at EarlySight. Prior to this, Benedetto held the position of Chief Executive Officer & Founder at OftalMedica. With extensive experience in the ophthalmic industry, Benedetto has successfully managed sales and marketing operations, negotiated contracts, and developed relationships with key opinion leaders. Additionally, Benedetto has worked in various sales positions at companies like Avellino Lab and Glaukos Corporation, where Benedetto was instrumental in international sales and marketing efforts, product launches, and establishing distribution agreements. Benedetto holds a degree in Political Science & Sociology and is fluent in both English and Italian.
