Hal Hinton

Hal Hinton has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Hal began their career in 1987 as a Colonel in the US Army. In 1999, they joined American Airlines as an Airline Pilot, where they gained domestic and international flight experience in B737, B757, B767 and F100. In 2015, they became the Business Owner of SilverEagle Transport, LLC. In 2016, they joined Peduzzi Associates, Ltd. as the Director of Aviation Business Development, where they were responsible for providing a range of services including Washington representation, government relations, government marketing, business development and strategic planning. In 2017, they became a 757 Captain at L3 Technologies. In 2021, they joined Avelo Airlines as the System Chief Pilot and Pilot Recruiter.

Hal Hinton received their Bachelor of Arts - BA from Rice University. Hal then obtained a Master of Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College. Hal also completed Executive Training - Negotiations and Leadership from Harvard Law School Executive Education. Additionally, Hal Hinton holds a certification in Airline Transport Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration.
