René Lüscher

René Lüscher has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. René is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Aveniq since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at GIA Informatik AG as the Leiter IT Solutions since December 2008. Before that, they held the position of Product Manager End User Workplace at Credit Suisse from October 2007 to November 2008. René Lüscher also worked at Swisscom IT Services as the Head of Workplace Engineering from February 1998 to September 2007. René started their career at IST Engineering AG as the Leiter Projekte from December 1990 to January 1998, and prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Sprecher + Schuh Automation AG from December 1987 to October 1990.

René Lüscher's education history includes two major academic achievements. From 1984 to 1987, they attended HTL Brugg-Windisch and obtained a degree in Ing.HTL, specializing in IT. Then, from 1992 to 1994, they studied at imaka / AKAD and earned a degree in Ing.STV, focusing on Wirtschaft (business studies).

Apart from their academic endeavors, René Lüscher has also acquired a certification in Management Basic. This certification was obtained in November 2022 from MIKA - Management-, Informations- und Kommunikationsausbildung.
