Weikai Lang

Weikai Lang is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in operations management within the investment industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations at Avenue Capital Group since December 2018, Weikai Lang oversees the trade lifecycle for a $12 billion global private credit fund, managing a team and various operational aspects including data management, settlements, private trade review, treasury, and valuations. Prior to this role, Weikai Lang held positions at Avenue Capital Group as Vice President and Senior Operations Analyst, alongside experience as Owner of Show Me The Wei, Inc., an internet gaming consulting company. Weikai Lang’s earlier career includes roles at Emerald Investments and Strasbourger Pearson, and an internship at Morgan Stanley. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from New York University and NYU Stern School of Business.
