Paul Thornton

Paul Thornton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry. Paul currently holds the position of Area Director of Operations at Averill Hospitality since May 2023. Prior to that, Paul served as Vice President Operations at Aramark from December 2021 to April 2023, and as District Manager from November 2018 to December 2021. Before their time at Aramark, Paul worked at RLH Corporation, where they held various roles including General Manager, Area Managing Director, and General Manager. Paul started their career at Red Lion Hotel at the Park as Assistant General Manager and later served as Director of Front Office & Guest Services. Additionally, Paul gained experience as General Manager at Holiday Inn Express & Suites and as Front Office Manager / Director of Housekeeping at Doubletree Hotel Spokane City Center.

Paul Thornton attended Washington State University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
