Barry Lane has extensive experience in sales and management roles. Barry started their career in 1983 at Avery Products Corporation as the Vice President of Commercial Sales. In this position, they were responsible for managing North American contract and commercial channel sales, with a team of nine direct reports and 70 extended team members.

In 2005, Barry joined Avery Dennison, Office & Consumer Products North America as the Director of Sales. Barry first led the OfficeMax channel sales for two years, and then took on the role of Director of Sales for the Mass Market Retail Channel. In this position, they managed sales of $160MM, including strategic customers such as Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Target, and more. Barry also had additional responsibilities including leading and developing a team of National Account Managers and Broker Rep Groups. Barry faced challenges such as competition from Asian sourced competitors and non-profitable category segments, but they successfully identified a more appropriate business model and implemented changes to create a smaller, more profitable business.

In 2008, Barry joined Avery Dennison - Fasson Roll Material Division as the Director of Sales for the Western Region. Barry managed sales of $175MM through nine regional managers. Barry also restructured and set new operating standards for the combined sales and customer service team.

Throughout their career, Barry Lane has demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to different industries and challenges.

Barry Lane attended the American Management Association in 2002, where they completed The General Management Course. In 1990, they enrolled at York University School of Management and pursued a program called Communicating with Impact, which they completed in 1991.
