Dr. Wayne D. Klohs has over 35 years of experience in oncology drug discovery and development, and has held key executive-level positions at Astellas Pharma, Pfizer, and Takeda. Currently, Dr. Klohs consults for numerous biotech and pharmaceutical companies focused on oncology

​He built the oncology business unit at Astellas and generated $400 million in sales in less than 5 years and secured approvals for Tarceva® and Xtandi® and successfully brought those oncology drugs to market. He led development teams to more than 14 successful IND filings and Phase 1 starts at Pfizer and Parke-Davis Research.
