Kiran Rana

Kiran Rana has gained a diverse range of work experience in the field of electrical engineering. They began their career at Stanford University as a Student Researcher Intern, where they designed and built a slip chip prototype for dipstick urinalysis using AutoCAD and laser printing. They also wrote Matlab scripts for data analysis.

Following their internship at Stanford, Kiran worked at Quanergy as an Electrical Engineer. In this role, they were involved in various aspects of product development, including circuit design, firmware design, and testing and development of a mechanical LIDAR sensor. They designed and simulated board-level circuits, tested PCBs, and wrote Verilog code and Python scripts for control and testing.

Most recently, Kiran joined Avestec Technologies Inc. as an Electrical Engineer. The details of their role in this position are not specified.

Kiran Rana holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, which was obtained from The University of British Columbia between 2019 and 2021.
