Maria Galan

Maria Galan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Maria served as the People Marketing Lead at Avi Medical in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at commercetools as the Employer Branding Manager for EMEA & APAC, where they developed a global employee value proposition based on employee feedback. From 2019 to 2021, Maria worked as an Organizational Culture & Communications Consultant on a freelance basis, providing personal brand consulting and assisting senior professionals with building their online presence. Maria also held the position of Head of Knowledge Management & Internal Communications at Babbel in 2019, leading a team and streamlining internal communication globally. Maria's earlier experience includes roles at eMAG, Asociatia Paspartu, Nemira Publishing House, and Graffiti PR, where they gained experience in team management, PR, marketing, and event coordination.

Maria Galan holds a Master's Degree in Visual Studies from CESI - Center of Excellence in Image Studies. Maria also has a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Communication, and Social Sciences from Universitatea "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași. Additionally, Maria has obtained several certifications including "Aaron Dignan on Transformational Change" from LinkedIn in April 2021, "Design Thinking" from HEC Paris on Coursera in March 2020, and "Organizational behavior: Know your people" from Macquarie University on Coursera in March 2020.
