Daniel Lourenco

Daniel Lourenco has been working in various roles since 2010. Daniel began their career as a Sales Assistant at Waitrose, followed by a role as a Waiter and Bartender at Jam Staffing Ltd in 2014. In 2015, they took on a Laboratory Summer Placement at the University of Portsmouth, where they focused on post transcriptional gene regulation. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Pall Corporation as a Biotech Process R&D Scientist. Since 2019, they have been employed at MeiraGTx as a Project Manager - MSAT and a Process Development Scientist - Gene Therapy. Most recently, they were hired at AviadoBio in 2022 as a CMC Project Manager.

Daniel Lourenco completed their high school education at St James Catholic High School, where they studied Biology, Physics, History, and Business at A Level. Daniel then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology at the University of Portsmouth, which they completed in 2015. In 2016, they obtained a Master's Degree (MRes) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the same university. In 2021, they obtained certifications in AgilePM Foundation from APMG International and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
