Aviation Repair Technologies is a leading FAA and EASA-certified repair station specialized in component MRO, airframe maintenance, part sales, logistics, and aircraft end-of-life management services for the most popular commercial and regional aircraft operating today. ART supports aircraft operators around the world from our state-of-the-art component MRO located in Blytheville, Arkansas, and Corporate & Sales office in Doral, Florida.

ART is currently looking for a full-time Financial Controller. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will be based in Doral, Florida.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Manage Cash Flow;

• Act as audit liaison;

• Assist in budget preparation;

• Ensure financial compliance;

• Supervise junior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings;

• Monthly account reconciliations

• Assist with other accounting projects; and

• Other duties as assigned.

NICE TO HAVES, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Experience using QuickAviation; and
• Experience in the aviation industry.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting  or a related professional field;
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company work product and related policies and procedures;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel use is required);
• Be able to work regular business hours (8 AM to 5 PM);
• Able to communicate orally and in writing in a professional manner;
• Strong business ethics; and
• Be 18 years or older and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
