Michelle Brummond

Michelle Brummond is an experienced educator and learning designer with a career spanning over 15 years in various educational roles. Currently serving as a Learning Designer at AVID Center since August 2018, Michelle previously held the position of Technology Integration Specialist at Alexandria City Public Schools from March 2016 to August 2018. Earlier roles include Secondary English Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools from August 2008 to June 2013 and at Onslow County Schools from August 2005 to June 2008. Michelle Brummond holds a Master of Arts in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, along with an Associate of Arts in Education from Cape Fear Community College.
