Josh Dover

Josh Dover started their work experience as an intern at the U.S. House of Representatives in September 2008. Josh performed legislative research and drafted constituent mail responses. From April 2009 to March 2011, they worked as a Legislative Assistant and Legislative Correspondent, where they drafted legislation, amendments, testimony, and floor speeches for a congressman. Josh also assisted state agencies in securing funding for infrastructure projects. From March 2011 to January 2015, they served as a Legislative Director/Senior Legislative Assistant, managing legislative initiatives and leading the office's appropriations program. Josh successfully passed amendments and helped obtain funding for state projects.

In May 2015, Josh joined JetBlue as the Director of Government Affairs. Josh developed and implemented the company's policy advocacy strategy in the U.S. Senate.

In September 2007, Josh worked as an Assistant Account Executive at Edelman, providing legislative and regulatory research support for the Microsoft and K&L Gates legal accounts.

Prior to that, from May 2007 to September 2007, they worked as an Assistant Account Executive at Waggener Edstrom Communications, where they provided legislative and regulatory research support for clients.

Most recently, in 2023, Josh started working as the Vice President of Government Affairs at Avis Budget Group.

Josh Dover received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Pepperdine University, where they attended from 2001 to 2005. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy at Brown University from 2005 to 2007.
