Ryan Flaharty

Ryan Flaharty has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ryan began their career in 2008 at Rubbermaid Home Products as an Associate Test Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Associate Materials Engineer. In 2010, they joined Newell Rubbermaid, first as a Project/Product Engineer and then as a Program Manager.

In 2015, Ryan interned at Chevron as part of their Commercial Development Program. Ryan then moved on to Amazon, where they held several senior product management and marketing roles. Ryan'sresponsibilities included overseeing Amazon Devices security cameras, managing the Alexa Smart Home Dash Button, and ensuring product safety in the Marketplace.

From 2018 to 2021, Ryan worked at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where they served as a Senior Manager and Director of Product Management, focusing on contact center technology, conversational technology, and digital post-purchase experiences.

Most recently, Ryan held leadership positions at Flexcar and Avis Budget Group, where they were responsible for product management and operations. In their current role as Vice President of Product Management and Operations at Avis Budget Group, Ryan leverages their extensive experience to drive product strategy and operational efficiencies.

Ryan Flaharty has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Brand Management and Product Marketing from the Texas McCombs School of Business. Ryan also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
