Robert Dent

Robert Dent has over 30 years of work experience, with a focus on sales leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Robert is currently the Vice President of Sales at AVITA Medical, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Sales Effectiveness at AVITA Medical and as the Director of Sales from 2018 to 2022. Before joining AVITA Medical, Dent worked as the Vice President of Sales, Tissue Regeneration at Alliqua BioMedical, Inc. from 2014 to 2018. Robert was responsible for commercializing a regenerative technology portfolio and managing a sales force of 30 individuals. From 2010 to 2013, Dent held the role of Vice President of Sales, Western Area at ConvaTec, overseeing sales in various healthcare franchises. Robert began their career at Healthpoint in 1997, where they served as the Western Director of Sales, responsible for driving significant sales and leading a team of representatives and managers. Dent also held the role of Director of Training for Healthpoint University during their time with the company. Prior to their work in the healthcare sector, Dent worked as the Director of Fundraising at United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area from 1991 to 1996.

Robert Dent earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Florida, completing their studies between 1986 and 1990.
