Cecillia Chen

Cecillia Chen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in capital structuring, debt financing, and corporate governance. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Aviva since November 2019, Cecillia supports the Group CFO and Treasury in various strategic initiatives while advising on regulatory matters and participating in PLC Board committee meetings. Past roles include Head of Legal for Private Wealth Management Asia at Morgan Stanley, where Cecillia managed a team addressing complex legal and regulatory issues, and Assistant General Counsel at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, specializing in derivatives and structured products. Cecillia's foundational legal education includes an LLB from King's College London and an LLM in Environmental Law and Sustainable Development from SOAS University of London.
