Danny Hoskin

Danny Hoskin is an accomplished Principal Data Scientist specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Automation at Aviva since July 2017, where responsibilities include scoping and delivering AI projects, managing data-related challenges, and balancing business needs with scientific constraints. Previous roles at Aviva include Artificial Intelligence Team Lead and Lead Data Scientist, focusing on expanding analytics capabilities and developing innovative AI solutions for underwriting. Prior to joining Aviva, Danny served as Head of the Mathematics Department at Paston Sixth Form College and as a Mathematics teacher at Lynn Grove High School and Hartismere High School. Danny holds an MPhil in Applied Mathematics, an MSc in Modeling in Applied Mathematics, and a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics, all from the University of East Anglia, as well as a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of the West of England.
