Moseley Andrews

CTO at Avive Solutions

Moseley Andrews is currently the CTO at Avive Solutions. Prior to this, they worked as an undergraduate researcher at the MIT Media Lab from June 2016 to February 2017. Their work there centered on the use of single photon counting avalanche diodes (SPAD) for picosecond imaging, and they also did extensive software/hardware interface development in LabView, analytics in Matlab, design and precision machining of electrical housings, and work with optics and Class IV Lasers. Moseley also worked on advancements in THz Imaging and sensing, which resulted in a patent and a published paper.

Before their time at the MIT Media Lab, Moseley worked as an engineering intern at the HELIX Centre from June 2015 to August 2015. There, they worked on frugal design and engineering solutions to major healthcare issues in the UK health system. This work consisted of rapid product design, hardware prototyping, and software development. Moseley also co-led a project for upper limb rehabilitation for stroke and brain trauma patients. The project was awarded the NHS Innovation Challenge Prize in January, 2016.

Moseley Andrews graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering.
