Dr. Alexander Schmitt

Dr. Alexander Schmitt is an accomplished engineering professional specializing in power hardware-in-the-loop emulation of highly utilized synchronous machines. Currently serving as Entwicklungsleiter at AVL SET GmbH since March 2017, Dr. Schmitt previously worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) from October 2010 to January 2017. Dr. Schmitt earned a Dr.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from KIT between October 2014 and January 2017, and a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in the same field from KIT from October 2004 to April 2010.
