Kerry Buckman Sphr

Kerry Buckman, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the People & Culture Manager at Avocet Hospitality Group since March 2022, Kerry previously held the position of Senior Manager, People Operations at Life House, managing HR functions for over 600 employees across multiple properties. From September 2000 to March 2020, Kerry excelled as the Human Resources Director at Chattanooga Choo Choo, where responsibilities included overseeing recruitment efforts, conducting interviews, managing employee records, and providing HR training. Additionally, Kerry held roles as Banking Officer and Director of Housekeeping during tenure at Chattanooga Choo Choo. Kerry earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1999.
