Joe McGuirk

Joe McGuirk is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in operations, governance, and service management. Currently serving as Vice President of IT Business Operations & Governance at Avolon since July 2024, Joe previously held significant roles at Ipsen as Director of Application Management Services and at Novartis as Director of Global Service Operations. Joe’s career highlights include leading application management services and implementing ITIL frameworks across global organizations, receiving the 2012 IBM Service Excellence Award, and overseeing IT infrastructure projects. Educational qualifications include an ITIL Expert certification and a B.Sc in Computing Science from Griffith College Dublin.
