Ingrid Damacela

Ingrid Damacela has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Ingrid started their career in 1997 as a Research Technologist at Abbott, where they were responsible for routine maintenance of instruments and conducting pre-clinical studies. Ingrid then worked as a Research Specialist at the University of Illinois at Chicago before joining the University of Chicago Medicine as a Lead Technologist and later as a Laboratory Manager, overseeing various laboratory operations. In 2006, Ingrid joined Miltenyi Biotec as a Clinical Applications Manager, and later became a Clinical Instrument Specialist, working on sales strategies for clinical instrumentation. Their most recent role was at AVROBIO, where they served as an Associate Director, Director for Global External Manufacturing Operations, and currently as the Director for Global Manufacturing Science and Technology.

Ingrid Damacela obtained a Medical Technology Certification from Lutheral General Hospital. Ingrid later pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Biology, General from Roosevelt University.
