Alexander Volobuev has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alexander began their career as an Independent Computer and Electronics Technician in 1997 before becoming the Owner and Technician of Alabama Computers from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they served as a Violinist for the Alabama Symphony Orchestra from 1997 to 2007. Alexander then moved into the field of security technology, working as an Engineer and Senior IT Specialist at Vision Security Technologies from 2008 to 2012. Alexander was responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-class network-based security video and access control solutions. From 2010 to 2012, Alexander worked as an IT Specialist contractor at Pinnacle Networx, providing managed services and IT solutions to various clients. In 2012, they joined Tyco Fire & Security as a Global Systems Applications Manager, where they were responsible for professional services such as programming access control and video surveillance systems. Alexander then took on the role of Systems Applications Manager, Global Accounts at Tyco Enterprise Strategic Global Accounts from 2015 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Engineering at AVTEL starting from February 2020.
Alexander Volobuev earned a Masters degree from The University of Georgia from 1995 to 1997. Alexander also obtained a Certificate of completion in Cisco CCNA course from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University in 2009. Prior to that, they pursued an MM degree in Indiana University Bloomington from 1993 to 1995, and an Artist Diploma from Indiana University South Bend from 1992 to 1993.
