Albert Maas

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder at Avular

Albert Maas has had a varied career in engineering and management. From 2000 to 2003 they worked as a mechanic for Gebroeders Pladdet, Burg Metaal, and Camping Hoogeduin. In 2003 they completed internships at Symach Palletizers bv as a CAD Engineer and at Gebroeders Pladdet as a Mechanic. In 2005 they co-founded Formule-Bio, where they served as a Co-Founder, Member of the Board, and Composite/Aerodynamic Engineer. In 2011 they co-founded TUeInMotion where they served as Co-Founder, Designer, and Manager. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have been the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Avular, a drone and robotics company.

Albert Maas completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) in Control and Aerodynamics from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Mechanical Engineering degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) in 2009, with a focus in Composites. Albert began their studies in 2001 at ROC Zeeland, where they earned a Mechanical Engineering degree with a focus in CAD/FEA.
