Joseph Scott Helsing

Joseph Scott Helsing possesses extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, currently serving as Senior VP of UAS Programs at AVX Aircraft Company since June 2023. Prior to this role, Joseph was the Director of VDS and Program Manager for Advanced Programs at DZYNE Technologies, where management of engineering teams focused on autonomous air vehicle solutions was a key responsibility. Joseph's experience also includes serving as Director of Engineering at StandardAero, Senior Project Manager and COO at UXB International, and Director of Aircraft Operations/Senior Project Manager at AVID LLC, overseeing significant projects in unmanned aerial vehicles. Joseph's career began at Boeing Satellite Systems, where various engineering roles were held, including Project Manager and Test Director. Joseph holds dual BS degrees in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech, supplemented by education from the University of Southern California and The George Washington University.
