Dylan Penka

Dylan Penka has a diverse work experience in software engineering and internships. Dylan is currently working at Aware as a Software Engineer, where their focus is on .NET development and infrastructure design. Prior to this, Dylan was a Production Engineering Intern at Meta, where they designed a load balancing system to optimize traffic distribution and reduce costs. Dylan also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Aware, where they developed their skills in software engineering. Dylan's previous roles include an Application Development Intern at Progressive Insurance, where they built a user survey application using Angular and .NET technologies, and a Cloud Security Intern/Student Worker at Nationwide, where they created internal applications and managed infrastructure using Kubernetes on AWS. Dylan also served as a Machine Learning Intern at Nationwide, working with AI/ML feasibility teams and utilizing Python and SQL to acquire and clean data for predictive modeling. Dylan's earlier experience includes a DevSecOps Internship at Nationwide, where they assisted in implementing DevSecOps methodologies and fixing security defects in web applications. Additionally, they served as a Dining Room Server at The Inn at Olentangy Trail.
