Evanthika Amarasiri

Evanthika Amarasiri has diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Evanthika joined Aware Super in 2020 as a System Integration Specialist. Prior to that, they worked at Rest from 2018 to 2020 as an Integration Specialist, where they provided assistance to various projects in utilizing integration infrastructure and implemented integration interfaces using WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 EI.

From 2016 to 2018, Evanthika served as a Senior Technical Lead - Support Team at WSO2. Their responsibilities included assisting clients with enterprise integration using WSO2 products, analyzing and resolving technical issues, and helping clients understand WSO2 product architecture, deployments, and features.

Before joining WSO2, Evanthika worked at WSO2 Lanka (PVT) Limited from 2006 to 2015, holding various roles including Senior Technical Lead - Quality Assurance. In this position, they designed and implemented integration solutions for clients using the WSO2 product stack, provided consultancy and support to clients, and played a significant role in designing integration solutions and improving product capabilities.

Evanthika's career began in 2000 at 99X Technology, where they started as a Trainee and eventually became a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. During their time there, they were involved in various web-based projects, utilizing OOAD with UML, Rational Rose for modeling, and following the Rational Unified Process for software development.

Evanthika Amarasiri completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology from an unspecified institution from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology from the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) from 2000 to 2005. In addition, they earned an International Diploma in Computer Studies from IDM Computer Studies in 2000-2001, and a Diploma in Computer Studies from Data Processing Aides Limited - Sri Lanka from 1996 to 1997.
